Process payroll accurately and timely for employees using payroll software/system.
Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and other adjustments as per company policies and regulations.
Verify and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
Prepare and submit payroll tax payments and filings in a timely manner.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
Assist with the preparation of payroll reports, including earnings summaries, tax reports, and labor distribution.
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations.
Proficiency in payroll software/systems (e.

, QuickBooks).
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
